Not TodayAnother afternoon he shall awaken
Lost all track of yesterday and today
How long ago had his heart been taken
It never mattered; she's gone away
Has it always been this way?

Outside, the wind began to weep
Another day spent by himself
This towns too cold and it's hills too steep
Each waking hour his mental health
It sheds, shears, and slips away...

However, I shall mention first
These 4 walls have seen it all
From his manic best to his depressive worst
He daydreams standing on his roof to fall
The ending to it all.

Only the wise keeps from psychosis
When did the hero become so meek

I can't begin to explain all my thoughts on this piece. It has such an air of contentment, while still having something slightly unsettling about it. I really like it :)

Thanks, a lot. ^^ I can see the energy I put in this is able to be read by you. unsettled by it's many layers, but in a way content and relaxed. Colors spread to reflect energy and feeling.
